OK, this is not actually "new", but I suspect most visitors to this site haven't seen it; it's been available for nearly two years, but was hidden away in old News Notes. After hearing that a new user had watched it, I viewed it again and realized it might be helpful in explaining what the program is.

As background, in the summer of 2003, I was interviewed by the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Channel, by Ruth King (whom I knew through a school connection). She thought WXSIM might be of interest to people in the HVAC business (since it's certainly weather-dependent). I'm not sure that any WXSIM sales resulted from this interview, but as I think it serves as a pretty good introduction to the program, for a somewhat general audience.

To view it, go to http://www.hvacchannel.tv. In the upper left part of the page, click on Free Programs/Idea Exchange, then click on "Click HERE for previous Idea Exchange programs". Near the bottom of the list that pops up, click on "Weather Prediction Program That Works". After a couple more clicks (and filling in a little guest-book type-thing that I doubt has any significance), you'll be viewing the interview, which lasts about 30 minutes. The right side of the screen is supposed to be a Power Point presentation I made, but it doesn't seem to show on my computer (I'll check on that). I'd be curious to know whether or not it shows up for other viewers.

Since the interview is a bit dated, there's no mention of WXSIMATE, and the WXSIM version discussed is 8.something. Also, my moustache has since "fallen off"!
