Ordering Information

Note some price restructuring as of February 10, 2007. WXSIM and WXSIMATE have gone up $5 and $10, respectively, but there's now an option to bundle them and save $9. WXSIMATE has gradually become a more important part of the system, and most users now decide to get it.

I can take checks or money orders (my address can be found in readme11.txt or readmewm.txt) and also have a PayPal account. To use PayPal, just direct the payment to my email address (eburger@aol.com) and also send me an email advising me that you've ordered. However, for the most common ordering options you can now order quickly and conveniently, either through a PayPal account or with a credit card, using the PayPal buttons on the Downloads page.

With registration of WXSIM you get:

• The latest versions of all files.
  
• A full customization job for your site, plus 25 extra bonus sites around the world. You are licensed to install these on two computers.
  
• Full user support and customer service, plus the ability to obtain and make use of free upgrades (as long as re-customization is not necessary).
  

Customization (delivered electronically, i.e. via email): $89.

Registration of the WXSIMATE companion program: $49, for existing WXSIM users. With registration you will receive a 9-digit unlocking code to allow the use of the internet data retrieval function for your site, along with some customization of settings or help with this. Additional sites require additional codes, at $25 per site.

RECOMMENDED: WXSIM/WXSIMATE customization bundle: $129 (this saves $9 compared to purchasing the two separately).

Additional sites (either with original order or for existing users): $60 to $75 each, depending on circumstances (please inquire).

Site license for 3-5 computers: add $50 (i.e. $139 for email delivery with customization).

Site license for 6-9 computers: add $100 (i.e. $189 for email delivery with customization).

Site license for 10 or more computers: add $150 (i.e. $239 for email delivery with customization).

(WXSIMATE site-licensing included free if you already registered it for one computer and are purchasing site licensines for WXSIM itself.)

Re-customization for existing site: $45 to $60, depending on circumstances (please inquire).

Delivery of all files on a CDROM: Additional $10. Note that this is merely a backup disk, as the full set of files can normally be delivered via email. You can also burn your own backup disk by simply copying all the files in your c:\wxsim (or whatever you decide to call it) directory after getting it set up.

All upgrades of the main program are free for the forseeable future. New charges would occur for only the following reasons:

• If you ever want your site re-done to take advantage of possible new features, there will be a small charge for that (see 'Re-customization' above). Meanwhile, the program will still run with your existing custom data, as I am very careful to ensure backwards compatibility through all upgrades. Even data files I made for old DOS versions of the program in the mid 1990's still function in the latest version (they just lack certain features developed later).
• Additional sites or additional computers invlove charges as listed above.
• Related or auxiliary programs or modules developed in the future (such as the newly developed WXSIMATE), which are not essential to the main program and would not necessarily be of interest to all users. These may have a small cost (only a fraction of the main package). Meanwhile, most of the development and upgrading will be within WXSIM itself.
